New, tiny VRAD-506 actuator

Hey everyone,

We recently released a tiny new actuator called VRAD-506. You can see the datasheet here:

The '506 has a half-inch-round body and uses the same connector as the other VRAD family members.

Perhaps the coolest part is that it provides 28 degrees of rotation (in each direction) with only 5 volts (in each polarity).

We expect that this tiny actuator will find a home in compact laser projectors, or projectors where space is a premium factor.

Hi Rich,

We've recently hired a new guy named Erik who is tasked with building actuators and scanners. So far he's doing great and we currently have a decent stock of all actuators as well as Saturn 5 scanners.

So we have plenty of 506 in stock right now.

As for the price, the 1510 and 516 are both $99 for a single piece. The 506 is $59 for a single piece. Price goes down as quantity goes up.
