placing frames on the timeline via keyboard

Hi,
I own Beyond for several years now, but I mainly used it for live shows.
As a next step I would like to start programming shows. I already started several times, but I missed a feature I know from other laser software providers.
Is it possible to use the keyboard to place frames on specific positions on the timeline. A kind of live programming. You listen to the track and at specific events you hit a key and the predefined frame ist placed on the timeline.
I am curious If I just missed such a feature in Beyond.

In the recent streaming workshop for making shows, they mention a marker system you run the show and tap markers into place, these are then used to drop event or frames on to at a later time. my gear is in set up mode, i dont have my licence DAC so cant fire up beyond on this PC. check the help for the timeline pdf
 
yes, would like that, tap markers could be more advanced, instead of a figure it out later maybe drop in the focused cue. Would be nice if things could be kept color coded too, I like the keyboard marker color to be the cue color marker.
