Pro tracks tutorial

Someone make a pro tracks tutorial. I still haven't used it, and I don't really understand what it does. The only thing I can figure is that it's kind of like 'inserts' on audio tracks in a DAW? At least that's what it looks like. want to know how pro tracks can benefit me

Protracks is like LivePRO inside Beyond. If you didn't use LivePRO I would stay away from PT. Although you can use at the same time as trackless mode (toggle etc) it's gets messy, fast. That said, we use it for all our live shows
