problems to import files in quicktrace

Hello, i'm a new user of QS.
I try to import files with quicktrace but it doesn't work. I tried with GIF, JPEG and BMP files...I always receive a message that the format is not supported.
What can I do?
 
Hey Walter; send me an email, see screen name, with a couple of the images and I will see how to get them into QS. Also, send me a screen shot of the error message in case it is one I haven't seen before.
