Hi All,

At our company we have multiple Qm boards. All of them in a 19" housing. This takes a lot of space in the racks.

Also for smaller events we need sometimes just 1 board.

Is there any rack system that have 2 boards in 1U 19" (like this: http://www.pangolin.com/LD2000/dock/QM2000_Net_White.jpg) but than 2 in 1U.

I saw this also at the pangolin booth by Prolight+sound in Frankfurt.

Is it possible that you can "click" in, and take 1 board easy out and put it back in??

Somebody have an idea? let me know! :)

What was QM-boards attached in de rack on the Pangolin booth @ proglight and sound?

Somebody have to know!?
 
Do you know someone at a metal working shop who is handy?

It would be easy to make up Rack Mount Ears for the sides, and a middle spacer that you could screw into the sides of the laptop-friendly QM2000.NET boxes using the existing screw holes, that would allow you to put 2 of these in a 1U Rack Space.

I am surprised that Pangolin has not done this yet, but maybe they will consider something.

Also, you could get a 19" 1U Universal Shelf and put the 2 laptop-friendly QM2000.NET boxes on the shelf:
