QM2000 Memory init problem

Hi

I have a QM2000 Pro card, Showtime can´t be started due a problem with memory of the QM2000, error 6.

I saw that errors with memory are 100% reliable.

I want to ask if i can replace the memory by my self because i´m working on a show and i don´t have enough time to wait for the delivery from Pangolin.


Also if is possible wich is the cost of a memory card if finally i buy it from Pangolin, thanks.
 
I think you can replace it yourself but you must get the correct type as the RAM is very specific. It is "electrically single sided". Otherwise you can purchase it from us for $125 plus shipping; it can be purchased from our main ordering form https://www.pangolin.com/orders/. Ok, many thanks, i think best way is look for the exact same model.

Actually the card is running good, after 10 times cleanning the contacts and installing it again. :p, so for this job i´m sure i leave like that :)

Looks stupid problem because the card was really cleaned ( contacts ) and nice stored.

Anyway, is good to have a spare backup just to replace in case of failure.
 
You can use standart double sided modules as most are sold.
You loose only half the capacity.

Old stock 512MB double sided are cheap to get, just QM2000 cards utilize only 256MB.
