QM2000 + oncard networking idea.....

I like the remote networking ability of the qm2000... as one can install a qm2k + mobo into a laser projector and only really need a cat5 cable and shutter safety signal to control the laser....

however what is the possibility of, in the future, seeing oncard networking support ? The card can already work standalone, it just seems a bit of a waste of space and money to have to use a motherboard only to plug a cat5 cable in.....

thoughts ?

Hi Luminav,

We have considered the possibility of producing a QM board with networking capability. I am sure this will happen at some point in the future.

In the mean time, for projectors or applications that do not require the full capabilities of a QM2000, you might consider our Flashback series of boards. These are small boards that are intended to be embedded into a projector. They can be controlled by DMX or serial link. For more information about the Flashback series of boards, please contact Pangolin directly.
