Question and Help Needed please

Hi everyone. a beginner here with some "older" gear; (X-aser Mobile-Beat, FB3 interface). I am having issues with the beams if you will. They are not behaving ion the manner they should be as indicated on the preview square within the Quick-design software. Basically the laser patterns are not "fanning out" as they should...?
I will post a couple of pix and a link to a video showing the issue. I apologize as im sure its difficult to understand my specific problem as i don't yet know enough to properly describe it.
Update with media items coming soon, thanks in advance if you can assist!

This could have multiple causes. It could be that your zone is not set correctly, that only the preview is wider. It could also be that the scanners cannot reach the angle you want them to make. Assuming you scan frames on 30k, the max throw angle is only 8 degrees. Would it be possible to post a picture of the results?

Hi Bob, thanks so much for the reply. This was one thing that had slipped my mind completely last week. I will get some media up ASAP. I’ve never set the “zones” with this laser or the software. Very well could be the issue. Once you see it, you can let me know specifically from there.
Thanks again for your assistance with this!
