I have a custom-built laser that I purchased from someone, and the scanner is acting up. I use Beyond software and have no idea what brand of laser or scanner is installed. When i activate the test pattern after turning on the laser, the pattern is very distorted. After about 15 minutes the pattern then morphs into its correct shape. It is not color specific either. Any Idea what can cause this or where i can send it to be repaired?

You could be driving the galvos to hard have you tried reducing the scan angle to see if hte pattern comes good ?

Sounds like an issue with the laser, not beyond as it gets better after some time. But that itself is weird. Anyway, in beyond check the projector settings, reduce the size and check the scan rate - as above make the size smaller and lower the scan rate to 15000pps while displaying a test pattern and see if it gets better
