Shutter/Interlock output voltage/ power output ?

Hi everyone,

I might've asked about this before, but I figured if I post it here, it'll be saved and I can always view it later. ;)

I was curious about the shutter output on the Quadmod2000, does it supply enough power to run a small DC motor as a shutter mechanism ?

Thanks!

The shutter output is the same as all other outputs on the QM2000. It is driven from a small low-power op-amp circuit. The output impedance is on the order of 120 ohms so I doubt that this can directly drive a motor.

Hey Albie,

U could use an ULN2003 to drive your shutter with
on your pangolin signal.

Albie,

If you had one of our new DMX driver boards you could use the number one channel to drive the motor. Now with a jumper you can use that first channel for shutter control from the computer shutter output. It will not be effected by the DMX input when you have it in this mode!
