slow ethernet communication

Using the QMnet boxes, I have some computers that behave very slowly (such as working with Zones, or training a color palette), but others that seem to work much faster. The difference is significant, and the puzzling matter is that the computers exhibiting slow performance actually have gigabit ethernet.

Can anyone suggest some settings changes on the ethernet ports (or in some other area) that may improve the speed?

Hey Greg; I am not aware of any setting you can change. Are these Win7 computers? There is the Win7 netowrk fix you can try to run. It is in the LD2000\Network folder. You may also want to test with the preview window off.
