Transfer my license from one PC to another

I want to transfer my Beyond Essentials License from one PC to another and I'm only going to use it on One PC. I tried logging out from one PC and logging in into another one but it didn't work out. Could you tell me how to go about this procedure because the laptop I'm using currently is old and I want to upgrade.

Do you have am account-based or hardware license?

I have an account based license

on the pc where the license is active; Sign in, on the license panel. click the license code; click "stop use".
On the new pc. Sign in on the license panel, click the license code, and click "start use".

This should do the trick.
