I would strongly recommend running SS and QS on different computers, this eliminates all the DMX interface problems SS/QS has.
I'm using Laptop1 with SS + Control One > DMX splitter > Laptop 2 with QS and Enttec DMX PRO in
Works like a charm.
It's a bit clunky to setup all Custom Attribute if you are like me and have hundreds of laser ques, but hey.. at least it's a working solution for a one man army.
This way it is also very easy to just disable DMX in QS and run it live, perfect for us since we are 2 guys doing the shows and like to jam or create shows on the fly.
