using a compatible MIDI device with piano keys.

I'm already using akai apc mkII. However, I would sometimes like to "play" the effects using piano keys. Can you please give me an advice which midi keyboards are compatible to Beyond 5.5? I tried it with novation launchkey 49 ... it's not working with beyond at all. So every idea no matter wich brand is welcome.

Hi Alex, the Launchkey is compatible with BEYOND, you do need to assign functions to the keys. Basically training the functionality.

Hi Bob, thanks for your reply. I took a look on the video ... But what if i cannot see any reaction at all in the midi monitor of beyond when I push any know / piano key on launchkey? do you have any additional advice how I can get this device running?

I am not familiar with this particular instrument, assuming it acts as a normal midi controller, it is possibly in the settings of BEYOND. Did you set the midi controller as the input and output device in the midi settings?

I am using a cheap Yamaha keyboard that have a usb midi conector.
In Beyond
Midi settings
Midi in
Select keyboard
Somewhere there is learn
Then you can select auto learn or learn all.
Than you hit your keyboard keys from the lawest to the highest, after you save it, each key will triger a cue.
