    Hi,

I know of two people who have had very good results with VST. One of the two is the VST originator -- Dirk Baur of Medialas. The second is Kelly Sticksel of Magic Fire Laser Shows in Texas. Rob DiAddezio also had pretty good results when working with LSDI on the ILDA Awards opening in 2002. I am hoping that one of these guys will give you some good feedback, either through private email or preferably in public on this forum.

VST (all versions) only supports video capture systems with the Video For Windows (VFW) standard. I suppose some video capture devices do not support VFW and perhaps that is why you are having the problem.

Please investigate any possible driver options you may have for VFW support with your hardware.

I had the same problem with connecting firewire DV camera to VST.
Reason is picture size - PAL standard has 720x576 pixels resolution, which is too much for VST.
