Virtual L J mode question...

If you are in Virtual L J mode, is there a way to have the patterns change colors every time it changes to a new one while you are running through the patterns on the 'Statics' page? An automated color change would be very helpful in this situation. Any help would be appreciated. :)

Virtual LJ can do a few different things:

1) It can automatically change cues
2) It can automatically apply effects

Note that you can have either 1 or 2 or both happening at the same time.

In the case of number 2, these are done in the "QuickFX" section, which is found at the bottom of the screen. If you click on the QuickFX tab, you will see Virtual LJ-related buttons on the right side. These activate the Virtual LJ for each effect line.

Effects can be organized in any way you wish, but we have organized the default workspace such that the top line is color-related. So if you activate the Virtual LJ on the top line, then colors will be changed.

The button itself also allows you to change "how and when" the colors are changed. Just click on the right mouse button for more options.

In fact, the right-mouse button is used throughout the whole program. If you right-click on various buttons, sliders, and such you'll be surprised at what you discover

By the way, one of our clients made a video describing how VLJ is used, and giving a demonstration of it as well. That video is made private on our YouTube channel, but if any client sends me a private email, I will provide a direct link.

Best regards,

William Benner
