Hi All,
I have just upgraded my laptop to a Vista x64 bit version so that I can use the processors full capacity.
Now I try to connect to the Pangolin Qm.NEt board and no matter what I do, it will just not see it.
I tried Via a router, via a direct cable and even via a croscable.
Ipnumber fixed setting on 192.168.1.1 on the laptop.
No go whatsoever.
The software starts, starts looking for the board and then will never ever find it.
Then after much trials and tribulations you sometimes get a very brief connection with the board.
Hah..you say..finally...well ...NOT...
As the system then seems to start up it takes ages for the software to load and after a minute or so it bombs out again stating the Connection to Scanner 1 has been lost"
So you can start over again...and again...and again...
Bill can you please address these networking issues and release some tools so we can get past these darn hardcoded IP numbers of these boards. Also there seems to be some timer in the system that times out at odd intervals.
Help please as this is really frustrating...
Cheers,
peter
