White/Black Balance Color Tuning of Laser Projectors

I am having an issue which I believe is tied to color tuning and balancing RGB levels of laser projectors. I have been noticing that when a cue is faded out, there is a brief and faint green hint before going to black. A grey scale test pattern (shown on two different projectors in the attached images) reveals this green signal on the black end of the pattern. I suspect that this has something to do with the way I color tuned and balanced the lasers, but I am unsure where the problem lies. I followed Pangolin tutorials for Advanced Color Tuning and Settings found online. Is there a step I may be missing to ensure these darker/black levels are truly black? Any help and input is appreciated here.
