Will a standard DB25 cable work?

Will a standard DB25 cable work to go from my QM2000 to the ILDA input on my solid state Laser? When I plug in the DB25 to the laser it tries to scan the images but has problems, the colors seem fine as far as I can tell. I set up my Spectra Physics 171 so long ago, it seems like I kinda remember moving wires on the DB25 but I'm not sure. When I unplug the DB25 from the new solid state laser it works just fine, so at least I have not hurt it I hope. :eek:

A standard DB-25 extension (all pin-to-pin connected) will work fine.

Do NOT use "null modem" or any other cable that uses some sort of crossover wiring internally.
