zone control from artnet

Hello fellow laser artists

So I got Artnet control of the live controls working but I want to push things just that little bit more

Individual zone control

So this works fine
CenterUP.Brightness = 100

but this dose not
CenterUP.Brightness = Extvalue(0,100)

all of this is done in a dmx to pango script area

what am I missing
