what do I need for timecode w/ Show Kontrol

I'm looking to run some timecode on Beyond using Show Kontrol app and looking for more information on what I might also need. I am going to run Show Kontrol on my Macbook into an audio interface to Beyond on my other laptop.

currently I'm looking to get either the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 3rd Gen or the Radial ProD2.

would love to see some suggestions or see what other people are running as I know there's many different ways to do it or any information/resources to do more research. also, is the Pangolin TC4000 timecode reader required??

TC4000 is not required. TC4000 is "for" SMPTE .
You could do artnet timecode over ethernet, then there is no additional hardware needed.

sorry, i should have specified but I want the timecode to sync up with the song the dj cues so when they plays a song on the CDJs my timecode automatically lines up and plays

Show Kontrol can connect with the CDJ's, then you still can go over art-net for the sync with BEYOND.

Best way would be if SK can send ArtNET timecode. Fastest and no cost solution. If no... I would use MIDI TimeCode from SK, to loopback driver and get it from BEYOND side. The work case....spend $$$ and make SMPTE and then make it back. Website of SK does not specify do the do ArtNet TC or no. Check User Guide please.
