About 1.5 years ago, I acquired a pair of Clubmax 2000 Lasers, all have been incredible, they're amazing units, 1 unit came with an FB4, and have ILDA running to the second unit. No issues there!
However, recently, the main unit (with FB4 attached), has randomly been triggering the Scan Guard. It's disabled on the FB4, so I'm guessing there was a fault of some sort. Considering I'm only using the units for home use at the moment, while I source a new scan guard for it, the scan guard has been temporarily bypassed (disconnected) internally (also for testing).
Now, the issue is, I thought the scan guard was the reason the unit was not outputting. After disconnecting the scan guard, I was able to use the unit for about 45 minutes, then it randomly cut out again, and hasn't come back on since, it's been nearly 4 days since that has happened, I allowed time for the unit to cool down (fans are clean, internals decently clean) and still nothing. The FB4 unit still powers on, I still see an Output enabled light on both units, the second unit (connected through ILDA) still outputs perfectly fine, just the main unit isn't.
Is there something I should be looking for, testing or am missing when it comes to finding what's going on with this issue?
Any assistance on this would be greatly appreciated!
And if anyone can point me in the right direction for a new Scan Guard for these units, it'd be extremely helpful.
