Basically, I would like to apply the 'Zoom Through' QuickFX to a cue I've created using QuickTrace and add the cue with the effect applied to the timeline.
What I've tried so far is to drag the cue with the effect applied from the preview window to the cue grid then drag that from the grid to my timeline. However, this resulted in a No symbol cursor and my inability to add the cue.
I suppose the more overarching question to this problem is: am I limited in the effects I can use in the timeline to those I can create using the 'Edit Event Effect' tool?
