Beyond Timeline (ArtNet Trigger) Via Chamsys MagicQ

Hello All,

First post here, great to read up on so many threads.

I have a show coming up where I will be using my Chamsys Stadium Connect & MagicQ with timecode sequences however I will be using internal timecode. How can I send a DMX Channel, Let's say Channel 1, Universe 1, Value: 255 and have that trigger the timeline to play?

Secondly, Once I have achieved this, having another DMX trigger to trigger Timeline 2?

Is this possible, where are docs on how to do this or could someone help please.

Is there no way to trigger the timeline? I read on another forum doing the workspace cue is not the best way or something?

Hi,
It’s possible on the timeline as well.
So far you have Beyond advanced or ultimate, simply use a Pangoscript command.
You can trigger timeline start at a dedicated DMX value, or you can jump to different positions and timings as well.
What I sometimes to is to trigger the show via DMX from GrandMA or similar just a few seconds before show start… but sind Timecode in is activated, the show will just start running when the right time is incoming from LTC. This allows to start the show from one deck and you have enough time to check that everything is running and communicating the right way…
