I recently posted something on the facebook page about being able to change the bpm on the timeline in situations where I'm working with a long timeline with many songs, and many bpm changes. It was suggested that I use pangoscript to change the bpm. I was able to set a bpm change on a cue at the beginning of a song, and it would change the grid bpm. I thought that checking 'follow system bpm' under show properties meant that it would follow the bpm from the grid section. I thought that was the 'system bpm'. But setting the bpm with pangoscript from a cue seems to do nothing for my beat based effects. They are still following the 'show bpm'. This means what I really need to be able to do is change the 'show bpm' with pangoscript but I don't see that as a pangoscript option. Is there a way i can change the show bpm with pangoscript? And what does 'follow system bpm' really do, because it doesn't seem to do anything?
