Controlling Effect Parameters with MIDI (QuickShow)

I am trying to do lissajou patterns with the QuickShow software. Basically what I want to do it start with a QuickShape (most likely a circle) and add an X and a Y oscillator then use the MIDI dials to alter the amplitude and frequency of the oscillations, instead of using the clickable sliders.

However, it seems to me that only live control parameters such as XY position and size are assignable to the MIDI device.

Does any one know any way to accomplish this?

Dear PAC,

What you want to do can not be done with QuickShow.

QuickShow was intended to be a program for casual laser users, yet still having the power for professional users. However, what you want to do is beyond the scope of what QuickShow offers.

Really what you need is LivePRO, since LivePRO allows you to access effect parameters and also the abstract generator parameters with "channels", and direct those channels to MIDI controllers, thus allowing you to control everything with MIDI.

You can learn a bit more about LivePRO here:

LivePRO is available for a lower price for FB3 users than for QM2000 users. Please contact us to learn more about this.

Best regards,
