Hello, new to the QuickShow (5.5.0) software but I have worked with DAWs before such as Ableton. For my purposes I am triggering cues live on QuickShow using my keyboard with the Start Mode set to Flash. I am testing the software with a track on YouTube playing and the tempo at 128 bpm matching the video and syncing it with the backspace key.
The problem I am encountering is that it seems like all of my cues are playing a beat earlier than I intend. The issue specifically being that it feels like even if I trigger a cue 100ms early, it does not snap to the nearest beat, but instead it snaps to the nearest previous beat, meaning if I trigger a cue very slightly before beat 1 of a new measure it will sync to beat 4 of the previous measure. This means I have to trigger the cue either exactly on time or slightly late. I have added a graphic to help explain this: with the top being what seems to be happening, and the bottom being what I would like to be the case regarding cues snapping to the beat.
I am not sure if cues snap to the nearest 1/4 note or nearest 1/8 or if there are settings to change this. I'd like to know if there is a way to make it so that cues sync to the nearest beat either early or late. Only being able to trigger them slightly late is leaving me with blanking periods in performance where they aren't intended or cues feeling "late". I'm not sure if I have missed a settings menu for cue/beat quantization or something like that.
