Long transitions / fades?

I´m looking for a way to do looooong fade ins / outs, and loooooong transitions. Type 30 seconds.

Today the Transition Duration is max 4 seconds, I´d love to have no limits on that.
Or are there workarounds?

I use Beyond like a live instrument, where I sometimes need to trigger several clips, sometimes with quick fades sometimes with long fades.
Timeline is mostly for pre-programmed shows with a set length, set changes, or am I wrong?

You're right. The timeline is really meant for reprogrammed shows.
But what prevents us from using it if it solves our task.
You can make several cues of the same content.
One with quick fades , and the other with a long.

I´d like to revisit this conversation with a question:
Is there a chance that long transitions will ever be possible in Beyond?
More than 4 seconds, preferrably up to 30 seconds.

MIDI and DMX not high enough resolution to do smooth cross fades like fade zone 1 down while fade zone 2 up.
 
You can use the LiveConrol on the right.
Take the Britghness slider all the way down, click on your cue and than use the Brightness slider as slow as you want.
You can also you the little arrows next to the slider.

@aricha, I´d like automation, not having to do any manual labor. Klick cue and watch points morph nicely over 30 seconds, there´s my dream :)
