fade

I´m looking for a way to do looooong fade ins / outs, and loooooong transitions. Type 30 seconds. Today the Transition Duration is max 4 seconds, I´d love to have no limits on that. Or are there workarounds?

So, B5, adding multi effect to cue, but after adding it, cue won´t trigger. And even after deleting Multi Effect, cue won´t trigger. Side note: Looking for a way to create looooong fades, btw. Would like looooong transitions as well, like 30 seconds. Workarounds welcome.
