Playing a cue once

In Quickshow you could make a cue play once only then stop through the properties dialog. How do you do this in Beyond?

ETA: I mean a non-timeline cue. In particular, it has a keyframe effect for the brightness. The effect loops infinitely, I would like it to stop (and hold the final value) after playing once.

Has anyone found an answer to this problem? It seems there is no simple option to stop a cue after one "cycle" of the effect. The limit cue duration in the cue properties dialog box is no good, unless the animation speed is set at the default speed. Currently to end a cue after one cycle I have to make it on a timeline and save it to a workspace cue. It works but seems long winded. I think it just needs an option in the cue (or maybe the effect) properties.

Dear Toby,

What kind of animation is your cue?

In a frame based animation you can specify the "End action" on the "Playback" tab.

Kind regards

Hey... A little late here

So, I'm working with Quickshow and when I go to the "Playback' tab with my animation/frame based cue selected, which has a total duration of 4s, and choose as end action to "display nothing', it still stays in loop. (I set the loop at 0). For example, if I move this cue to the timeline and set to 8s, it will display two complete cycles.
