Squaring the cues to the beat.

Please excuse my English first of all, I am Spanish and use a translator.
I am new to this forum and I beg your pardon but I have checked all the forum and found no answer.
I am creating a show with Quick Timeline, I loaded an audio track and now I add cues but do not like to go to the beat of the music.
Is that the space bar you can assign the cue bpm, but when I drag the cue to cue timeline track of the speed will not be as original and give more speed to go to the beat of the music.
Please can someone explain it to me?
Thank you very much!

I am not sure what you mean exactly.
Best way to learn how to make shows is to disassemble other peoples show.
And look how they did it.

I think you refer to the beat-timing of oscillating/key/colour effects.
If you use a cue in the timeline that has beat-time, it does not listen to the space-bar anymore, instead it uses a fixed ~120 bpm.

Better use clock-time based cues in the timeline. Use speed and time shift to match the beat.

I guess this part is intentionally this way. BEYOND has much more sophisticated tools for beat synchronization in shows.
