Track reset while scan rate is set slow

Hello,

I have noticed when I run a frame with a very slow scan rate so the beam steps each point, I can not imediately stop scanning it by reset or frame zero. It will continue to scan until the frame is finished.

Is there a way to interrupt the frame in mid scan once the QM2000 has started plotting the points in the frame?

I'm not looking for emergency stop, but a way to instantly move to another cue or reset.

It depends on *where* you want to stop scanning. In Live! you can stop a scan immediately, but that is pretty much the only program that allows this.

The reason is that interrupting a scan would ordinarily be "bad"... The only reason I allow it in Live! is because when you press a new key, you *definitely* intended to interrupt the scan. In pretty much every other program (especially Showtime) interrupting a scan would cause very noticable problems in the show.
